Slapped together an easier way to check out the comic. Just hit the Mean Mike button in the left column. I'll be expanding that section to make it look better, as well as adding character bios and info about it.

I slept well last night after finally getting the comic pages uploaded. I'll slap together some sort of interface for viewing them tonight. :)

I'll make a post later on about what a headache it was to give such a juvenile, poorly-written, badly drawn 18-year-old comic a half-assed facelift. Or not.

I was many pages into lettering the comic when I realized that the font I was using was damned tiny. I should have caught it sooner when I was able to fit "War and Peace" into just three bubbles, but then again I'm not too bright.

It won't take long to fix, so I'll be uploading the final product this evening.


Update:
It's all done. I just need to eat and give it a quick proofread.

I don't know why I'm tinkering with it so much, because it really does suck.

The comic is just about done. All that's left is adding the funny words and making a cover, then I'll post it. I might whip up a quick epilogue as well, since it ends pretty abruptly.

She's so mean.

Last night myself and a friend watched Ringu and the American remake, The Ring, back-to-back. It's a great case study in how to take a great little film and fuck it up with dumb special effects, stupid writing, and lousy casting. In addition to Ringu, I'd recommend checking out Audition, another low budget and creepy Asian film that's available on DVD here in the states. Thankfully somewhere in the world people are still making good horror films.

I need to check out Finding Nemo tomorrow - I've heard nothing but glowing praise for it.
