I'm holding off on comic images until I get it done, so instead I'll show you some stuff I found in the dusty old picture folders of my hard drive. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's holding on to files that should have been deleted long ago.

This first image is a concept doodle I did of Chode as more of an action hero. I didn't have any intention of altering his design for real - I just did it for curiosity's sake.



This next piece I did in a friend's sketchbook right after the very first Resident Evil game came out. I hated this drawing and did him a better one later on, stowing this one away into the recesses where bad drawings are kept. I found it during my last move and cringed all over again.

It was done in marker/colored pencil and had faded a bit, so I juiced up the color and contrast in photoshop. As for the drawing's contents - I think most guys had mental images similar to this while playing the female character:


Boobies and zombies and firearms, oh my.

Finally, this last one was done as an album cover for my band's single, "Picnic Of Death". Oh, did I mention that I was in a band? It's called the P.B.F. (an acronym whose meaning is a sworn secret) and we make retarded songs, so I made some retarded artwork to compliment them. I intend to add a PBF section to this site so that you can hear our music and recoil in horror.

So I've been ravenously watching all the trailers/demos coming out of E3, and some of them are fucking sweet. The Half Life 2, Doom 3, and Halo 2 ones are particularly nice. Yep, it's a good year for gaming. But as cool as those are, the one that really made me smile was for the Sam and Max sequel, especially since it sounds like they got the same guys to do their voices as the first game. Lucasarts also did a nice job of translating Purcell's artwork into 3D:

There's a Canadian guy I know online who goes by the handle of Ruxpin (yes, named after that creepy bear), and one of the charming expressions he uses when putting down people - especially women - is saying they've "sucked 100+ cocks". A few days ago I was inspired to do some shitty drawings based on Rux's rapier wit, so here they are:

So with the success of X2, word has it Fox wants to do more films based on Marvel properties. One of them is the Fantastic Four. Just imagine... a high-budget Fantastic Four flick with great effects, a great cast, and Doctor-fucking-Doom. The very thought, quite frankly, gives me wood.

I'm plotting out the last big fight in issue one of the comic, so it shouldn't be long now. Then all 12 visitors to this site can enjoy my immature chicken-scratchings. Here's a pic I did a few days ago upon finding the image of a 40+ year old man in an interesting get-up:



So, I enjoyed X2. It was nice seeing characters like Wolverine and Magento slaughtering people like they do in the comics, and I was impressed with their depiction of Nightcrawler. Overall it was a huge improvement over the first film - especially the fighting. Wolverine vs. Deathstryke was a far better show than his lousy scuffle with Sabertooth in X1. Now we get to wait two more years for the next one. :(

I was hoping to have this damn comic done by the weekend, but no deal. I won't make any more predictions, but I will say it will be done very very soon. Then I'll move on to readying The Bunny Must Die for public consumption.

So... you guys seeing X2 this weekend? I'll probably catch it tomorrow. Here's hoping it's good.
